Anxiety

Breath darling.  This is just a chapter not your whole life story.

Anxiety, my dear friend.

One thing, I have had to learn about you is not to believe every thing you make me think.

People with anxiety don't have a train of thought.  We have seven trains on 4 tracks that narrowly avoid each other when their paths cross, and all the conductors are screaming.  Having anxiety is where you stress about stress before there is even stress to stress about.  I also love the people that get annoyed with my anxiety as if living with it is just like so totally fun.  If only I could just stop imagining fake scenerios and hurting my own feelings like 100% of the time.  Let's just say my anxiety has anxieties, okay?

Self-abandonment issues.

If you deal with anxious attachment you must learn to understand the energetic laws of this universe.  The energetic root of anxious attachment is self-abandonment.  When we abandon our wants, needs, and desires we send out our energy and we disregard our own boundaries, sending out more energy.  And when we people please we again, send out our energy.  Our unhealthy biggest investments are the people outside of us which of course causes us to have anxiety because we do not have any control over these people.  Yet, we have invested all of our energy into an empty nest of human connection and now we struggle to find the energy to make anything else happen.  To ease our anxiety we must stay in our power.  Invest our energy in ourselves rather than our current "handler" aka other people.  This comes with setting the boundaries you know you need, speaking up for yourself when you are uncomfortable, and having hobbies and activities to focus on that you enjoy.  Have non-negotiables, things you do regardless of who comes in and out of your life.  Whoever is holding YOUR power, will be empowered.  Stay focused on you and you will stay in the driver's seat of your life.  When you stop abandoning you, your anxiety will leave too.
